Client onboarding
Let's get you set up.
A few inputs and we're measuring. You can do everything done-for-you (grant least-privilege access, we publish to draft → you approve) or hand-off (we send ready-to-publish files + schema, your team posts). Your call.
What we need
- Your domain + 3–5 competitors.
- Money-prompt context — the questions buyers ask AI in your category (or we'll propose them).
- CMS access (for done-for-you publishing) — see how-to below.
- Brand notes — voice, do/don't, any legal review step.
- Approval flow + a point of contact.
- Analytics read access (GA4 Viewer or a Plausible share) so we can attribute results.
Reply to your onboarding email with these, or send them to hello@clearcited.com.
How to grant least-privilege access (safely)
WordPress
Add us as an Editor (Users → Add New → Role: Editor), or create an Application Password (Users → Profile → Application Passwords) and send that string — not your login.
Webflow
Invite us as a Content Editor, or generate a CMS-scoped API token (Site settings → Apps & integrations → API access).
Ghost
Settings → Integrations → Add custom integration → send the Admin API key + URL; or add us as a Staff Editor.
Shopify
Add staff limited to "Blog posts and pages," or a custom app with content scope. Never the owner account.
Squarespace / Wix / Framer
Invite us as a Contributor/Editor (we draft in-platform).
Custom / static site
Add us as a repo collaborator (we open PRs you merge), or name a publishing contact and we hand off files.
Analytics — GA4
Admin → Property access management → add us as Viewer (read-only).
Analytics — Plausible
Site settings → Visibility → create a shared link.
What happens next
We confirm scope in your SOW, run your baseline audit, turn it into a content + citation plan, publish to draft for your approval, and send a monthly report on your share-of-model. If anything's missing, we'll send one short, specific nudge — and you're never blocked, because we start with the audit + hand-off model until access is in place.
